How It Started
A-Foardable Domestics was established by Andy Foard, a seasoned domestic appliance engineer with over 31 years of experience in the industry. Andy began his career in 1993 at the age of 17, joining a local family-run business in Basingstoke, where he developed his skills in appliance repair.
In 2000, Andy joined Hotpoint, where he received formal training and qualifications from their college in North Wales. His career then expanded as he worked for major companies like Comet and Currys, where he gained extensive experience repairing a wide range of domestic appliances across multiple brands.
In 2019, Andy’s son, Joe, joined the business, adding a new generation to the family legacy. Together, they have continued to uphold the values of quality, reliability, and personal service that have been the cornerstone of A-Foardable Domestics.
